What Is Recurring Billing? #

Recurring billing (also known as convenience billing) is a prepayment option for ongoing services. Monthly charges are automatically processed on either the 1st or the 15th of each month.

First Payment Timing #

The first recurring billing payment is processed within the first month after the initial service is completed.

Note: If the customer’s initial service is rescheduled, notify Accounting, as the first recurring charge may need to be delayed.

How to Verify Recurring Billing #

There are three ways to confirm whether a customer is enrolled in recurring billing:

• Overview Tab (Customer Card) – All customers on recurring billing should have a flag labeled “Con Billing Script.”
• Subscription Details – Review the subscription to confirm the monthly amount and the next scheduled payment date.

Invoice Tab #

Recurring billing invoices are generated on the 1st or 15th of each month.

If a payment declines, the invoice will remain outstanding until paid.
