- Utilize moisture-activated granules on the home’s perimeter 6-8 ft. from the foundation.
- Treat cracks and crevices on the outside with a one-gallon compression sprayer.
- Perform Sweep Down as normal.
- Treat the inside the same accordingly.
- Optional: use dust in outside weep holes.
- Do not apply to areas where standing water exists! Reschedule if needed.
- Put out the rain day flyer or note the rain day procedure on your paperwork!
- Be sure the client is 100% satisfied with the initial service!
When to use granules on rain day renewals: when no conducive conditions exist, and a soil/rod TAT treatment is not needed. If there are conducive conditions, do not use a granule. Although the inspection is the most important part of the renewal, we want to deliver a quality and consistent service.
Communication with the Customer: #
- On rainy days, pest control technicians can treat the yard with a granule product that is activated by the rain and carried deep into the soil. It will control and prevent pests the same way liquid products do.
- If it is too wet for service when the technician arrives at your home, we will contact you to reschedule.
