- Term Rock Particle Barrier – see website.
- Intro: Term Particle Barrier is a physical rock barrier that is placed against the foundation with a wedge-shaped trench to impede termites’ ability to tunnel to the slab. Great IPM product.
- Common Practical Applications: Stucco to ground columns. Dirt above grade. Piers dirt above grade.
- Price: $30 per linear ft. for normal soil OR stucco to ground columns where the grade is much deeper than the normal trench should be priced accordingly. This is normally $125 – $175 per column.
Pest Control Services Include: #
- Organic liquid spray products and oils
- Mattress encasements ($75 – $85 each) for bedbugs.
- Drain Cleaner/Foaming: (boric acid or other product. Popular in restaurants. $25 per drain average. Try to service every quarter or every 6 months.)
- TAP Insulation: A boric acid infused cellulose insulation. Reduces energy cost and is applied in the attic.
- Crawlspace Vapor Barrier: Install a plastic barrier underneath a pier structure to help control moisture. See pricing guide. $0.85 – $1.00 per sq. ft. to install under structure. Rod piers and chain walls before installation.
- Bora-foam: Install borate infused foam insulation on a pier structure with a fully enclosed chain wall. Borafoam termite insulation 16 – 24 inches high.
- Note: Leave 2 inches at bottom and 3-4 at top for proper termite inspection.
- Note: Do not install if insulation is already under joists.
- $20 – $24 per linear ft installed on chain wall.
- 24 – 36 inches high = $28 per LF.
