Customer Sources #

Sources #

The customer sources preferences are used to set up and manage sources for customers.

Recording sources help users see how customers are discovering the company and its products. It also helps measure marketing efforts by eliminating poorly performing advertising mediums and focusing on better-performing campaigns.

A customer card has multiple places to choose a source: the info tab and on each subscription.

  • Builder or contractor – use when either of those builders are the source of the sale.
  • Five year conversion – switched to Sentricon at the time of the five year renewal.
  • Seven year conversion – switched to Sentricon at the time of the seven year renewal.
  • Perimeter conversion – use when Sentricon is installed in place of the perimeter.
  • Marketing sources – Angie’s List, Arrow Sign, Arrow vehicle, Arrow website submission, billboard, coupon book, Elocal, email marketing, employee referral, Facebook, Google, Groupon, etc.
