AI Doc Summarizer Doc Summary
AI Doc Summarizer Thinking Thinking

Identification #

A large population of ants that move in a “random” or “crazy” pattern and not in the traditional straight line. Tawny ants are an invasive species and resistant to many different pesticide products. A very intense treatment and follow-up must be performed. Ants are most active during August – October. It is common to utilize both liquids and granules (exterior) on this treatment if the technician deems it necessary.

IPM #

They love nesting and sheltering around debris and ground clutter. It is very important to inspect and remove harborage and habitat to help in controlling them.

Initial Price #

$250 – $500 with Taurus SC or Fuse SC (Fipronil = active ingredient) and a power sprayer used on the initial service.

One-time with 30 day follow-up #

$300 – $550.00. Commercial property or large area = send account manager or supervisor.

Guarantee Notice #

Tawny crazy ants are included in our service, but we cannot agree to eliminate them 100% from the property since they are an invasive species with very large populations. Our treatment serves as a control and suppression plan with elimination being a possibility. Two service calls per year will be given for tawny crazy ants.

Follow-up #

$120 at 1 month. Quote at initial quote and build into the initial fee.

Frequency #

Every other month schedule at $120 every other month to include tawny crazy ants.

Example #

Sell 7 treatments on the 1-year agreement to where a treatment happens every month for the first 3 months. The initial, the 1-month follow-up, and the first “bi-monthly” treatment occurs 1 month after the follow-up.
